ON ALL ORDERS
Unless a product is unexpectedly out of stock, all orders are shipped within 1-3 business days. We will contact you if there are any delays in shipping.
We use USPS for our shipping carrier. If your purchase is under 13 oz, you will be given the option of First Class shipping. First class will reach you within 3-5 days within the US. If your purchase is over 13 oz or you just want to receive it sooner, Priority mail will be used, which takes 1-3 days within the US, depending on your location.

We ship to all US territories and APO/FPO addresses as well as PO boxes.
WASHINGTON STATE SALES TAX
Sales
tax will be applied as required by law in the sate of Washington. This
means sales tax is not applied to orders shipped outside the State of
Washington, but the appropriate tax will be added to in-state orders.
Orders shipped outside the USA are not subject to sales tax, however
they may be subject to other taxes and import tariffs. International
buyers are responsible for any customs or duties fees that may apply.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS - CUSTOM FEES AND DUTIES
When
a package is shipped internationally, it may be subject to import
taxes, customs duties, and/or fees imposed by the destination country.
We are unable to predict which of these fees, if any, will be applied,
and the buyer will be responsible for these fees or taxes so please
factor that into your purchase. We are including some general
guidelines, but the best bet would be to consult your nearest postal
authority. Import duties, taxes, VAT charges are not included in the
item price or shipping charges.
By law, we must declare all items at their full price and cannot alter this amount to decrease international custom fees.
If
you refuse a shipment from Salish Winds, you are responsible for the
original shipping charges, any import fees, duties and/or taxes that are
incurred on the package, and the cost of returning the package to us.
This amount will be deducted from any refund if applicable. In the
instance that the return fee exceeds the amount of the merchandise plus
shipping costs, the package will be abandoned and you will not be
refunded.
Australia: Nothing to pay for import goods valued at up to AUD1,000 (~USD850).
United Kingdom: If your goods (excluding shipping cost) exceed £15,
you'll pay an additional 20% VAT on the entire cost of your order
(including shipping), plus an £8 "handling fee" to Royal Mail. If your
goods (excluding shipping cost) exceed £135, you'll also have to pay an
additional 12% "customs duty" on the entire cost of your order
(including shipping).
Germany: Anything under €22 (price +
shipping) is free of customs duties and import taxes, packages between
€22-150 you’ll pay sales tax on price + shipping (19% as of August
2014), and over €150 you’ll pay sales tax and customs.
The
Netherlands
: Anything over €22 (price & shipping) gets hit with
sales tax (typically around 20% of the price including shipping).
Anything over €150 will need to pay both sales taxes and customs.
Sweden: 12% customs tax (of the total value of the order). 25% sales tax of the customs tax value.
Norway:
Anything under NOK 350 (price + shipping) is free of customs duties and
import taxes, if above that you pay 25% sales tax on the total sum.
